About This Race
The Firelighter 50 covers nearly 47 miles of Anglesey's most spectacular and demanding coastal terrain from Holyhead to Moelfre. This single-day challenge follows the same clockwise route as the Ring O' Fire participants, tackling the particularly demanding section with many undulations as the path dips between headlands. With three checkpoints and mandatory cut-off times, it offers a taste of the full Ring O' Fire experience.

Notable Features
Ring O' Fire offers a complete circumnavigation of Anglesey via the coastal path, presenting one of the few opportunities to run entirely around a major British island. The event's multi-day format, combined with its charitable mission and location in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, creates both an athletic and spiritual journey through some of Wales' most pristine coastal landscapes.
