Curated trail gear.
Tested on the trail.
Not a gear shop. A knowledgeable running partner who knows what works, what doesn't, and what you actually need for race day.
What we're building
Gear advice that starts with the trail, not the brand. Every recommendation earns its place.
Shoe Guides by Terrain
Rocky technical singletrack needs a different shoe than smooth fire road. We match recommendations to the course you're running.
Mandatory Gear Checklists
Every race has different requirements. One-tap checklists built from actual race rules — never show up missing a whistle again.
Drop Bag Strategy
What to pack, where to place it, and what you'll actually want at mile 62. Advice from runners who've been there.
Race-Specific Guides
Curated gear lists for specific races. What works at Western States isn't what works at Hardrock. We get granular.
Our approach to gear
We don't sell gear — we help you choose it. Every recommendation is tied to a specific use case: this shoe for that terrain, this pack for that distance, this layer for that climate.
When we say a shoe works for rocky alpine terrain, it's because runners have logged miles on those trails in those shoes and shared what worked. No paid placements. No affiliate-first thinking. The trail comes first.
Race-specific gear guides mean you'll know exactly what to bring — down to the mandatory gear list and the drop bag contents that runners wish they'd packed.
