About This Event
The Ring O' Fire Race Series presents some of the most demanding coastal ultra challenges in the British Isles, set against the dramatic backdrop of Anglesey's spectacular coastline. This circumnavigation of Ynys Môn follows the Isle of Anglesey Coastal Path through diverse terrain including sandy beaches, steep cliff-top paths, rocky coves, sand dunes, farmland, forest sections, and quaint seaside villages. Almost the entire coastline of Anglesey is designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, offering breathtaking views with the Snowdonia mountain range as a dramatic backdrop. The relentless nature of these non-stop races, combined with the technical coastal terrain and ever-changing weather conditions, creates a profound test of both physical endurance and mental resilience. Beyond the athletic challenge, these races serve as charity fundraisers supporting vital community work both locally on Anglesey and around the world, adding purpose to the personal journey of each runner.
