Starting with a loop around Walberswick, this route follows the Suffolk Coastal Path to Southwold before heading inland to Reydon. The course returns to the coast at little-known Covehithe and continues through Kessingland and Pakefield to finish at Nicholas Everitt Park.

The Holy Trail Ultras uniquely combine Suffolk's ecclesiastical heritage with diverse coastal and marshland terrain, following sections of the historic Via Beata trail system.
