About This Event
The Warrington Way is a 40-mile ultramarathon that circumnavigates the town of Warrington through the lovely Cheshire countryside, starting and finishing in the village of Lymm. Runners follow a predominantly trail-based route on tracks, footpaths, field crossings and country lanes, with waymarked markers though navigation skills are required as runners must carry maps. Organized by Lymm Runners, this club-organized event is UK Athletics registered and licensed by the Trail Running Association. Well-stocked checkpoints await at the 10, 21 and 30-mile points, with a hot meal provided at the finish along with the coveted technical T-shirt and medal for finishers.
