About This Event
Trollhättan City Trail brings urban trail running to Sweden's scenic waterfall city, weaving through the historic locks and fall areas that define this industrial heritage site. Starting from Folkets Park, runners navigate technical singletrack and challenging staircases that wind through the dramatic landscape of the Trollhättan Falls and lock system. The race showcases the unique character of Trollhättan's central area, passing notable landmarks including Kopparklinten, Gamle dal, multiple historic locks, Olidan, and Kungsgrottan. The varied terrain combines natural trails with urban elements, creating a distinctive running experience that celebrates both the city's industrial history and its natural beauty. Now part of the Outnorth Trailtour series, this event has expanded beyond its original single distance to offer options for runners of all abilities, including family-friendly options and challenging longer routes for experienced trail runners.
