About This Event
The Trail du Viroin showcases the natural beauty of the Viroin region in Belgium, winding through the Parc Naturel and Parc National landscapes near Nismes. Runners experience diverse terrain through one of Belgium's most scenic areas, including the dramatic Fondry des Chiens, known as Belgium's Grand Canyon. The event emphasizes self-sufficiency with limited aid stations, encouraging runners to carry their own nutrition and hydration. The courses traverse historic villages like Olloy, where active steam trains still run, and Vierves, officially recognized as one of Wallonia's most beautiful villages. With four distance options, the event accommodates different experience levels while maintaining its commitment to showcasing the region's natural heritage.
