About This Race
This 50-mile journey follows the Telford T50 pathway from the historic Ironbridge to the heights of the Wrekin, passing through former industrial areas that showcase the region's rich heritage. The mixed terrain includes hills, flat sections, and road portions, making it suitable for seasoned ultra runners while remaining manageable for newcomers with proper training. Four strategically placed checkpoints provide excellent support throughout this historical and challenging route.
This 50-mile adventure follows the complete T50 pathway through Shropshire's diverse landscape, taking in historic Ironbridge and ascending to the heights of the Wrekin. The pre-marked route offers excellent waymarking and four well-stocked aid stations, making it suitable for both experienced ultrarunners and those tackling their first 50-mile distance.
