About This Event
The Swiss Irontrail offers a distinctive trail running experience in Switzerland's largest nature park, Parc Ela, in the heart of Graubünden's Val Surses region. Runners traverse landscapes defined by steep mountain peaks, expansive vistas, glaciers, and alpine lakes, creating an authentic Swiss mountain running experience. The event takes place across two days, featuring distances ranging from a kids' run to the challenging 78-kilometer flagship route. Each course showcases different aspects of this remarkable alpine terrain, from forest passages and alpine meadows to high mountain passes. Based in the villages of Savognin and Bivio, the race provides access to some of Switzerland's most pristine mountain environments.
