About This Event
Set in the stunning coastal town of Robe on South Australia's Limestone Coast, this multi-distance event combines the best of trail running with spectacular ocean views. The 2025 edition attracted over 530 runners from across Australia to experience a unique course that traverses coastal trails, beach sections, and road, including a memorable 3-kilometer stretch along Long Beach, voted one of Australia's finest beaches. Robe serves as an ideal trail running destination, positioned approximately 3.5 hours from Adelaide and 6 hours from Melbourne. The historic coastal village offers diverse attractions and serves as a gateway to stunning coastal national parks. Beyond the running, participants can explore the region's rich maritime history, sample local produce, or engage in recreational activities ranging from surfing and fishing to mountain biking. The event fosters community spirit with pre-race activities including a casual 'Robes Run' on Friday evening, where participants don bathrobes for a relaxed 4-kilometer jog to the local Obelisk. All races start and finish at Foreshore Reserve on Mundy Terrace, creating a festival atmosphere in the heart of this picturesque coastal town.
