Hovfjället Trail Run has become a Swedish trail running classic over its eight-year history, drawing runners to the wild forests and wolf territories of Värmland. The race offers a true wilderness experience through untouched terrain, with courses winding through forest trails, marshy sections, wooden boardwalks, and narrow gravel roads before finishing in the town of Torsby. The event showcases the rugged beauty of Swedish backcountry, starting from elevations as high as 542 meters on Hovfjället mountain and descending through varied landscapes.
