About This Event
The Celtic Trail Races present three challenging winter trail running options through the rugged landscapes of South Wales. Runners traverse the wild beauty of the Afan Forest and Rhigos mountain range before finishing on the high-level trails of the Coed Morgannwg Way. The fully marked routes feature sharp climbs, flowing descents, and river crossings through fast, runnable trails steeped in history. Along the way, participants discover hidden reservoirs, ancient woodland tracks, and soaring wind turbines while enjoying unrivalled views across the Brecon Beacons National Park. All races culminate with a dramatic descent into the festive atmosphere of Dare Valley Country Park, creating a perfect way to end the running year.
