About This Event
The Blackall 100 takes runners across the Blackall Range in the Sunshine Coast hinterland, traversing vibrant ferny forests, subtropical rainforest, tall eucalypt trees, and quiet hinterland hamlets. This Western States Endurance Run qualifying event celebrates strong ties to the local Indigenous community, honoring the Blackall Range's history as a gathering place for thousands of years where Bunya Feasts of dance, song and food took place. The event is beloved for its challenging terrain and meaningful traditions, including the iconic Blackall 100 Bell that finishers ring as they cross the line. Set in Queensland's scenic hinterland, the race offers runners a journey through diverse Australian landscapes while connecting them to the deep cultural heritage of the region.
