About This Event

The final event in BigFeat Events' Classic Element Trail Series, BigSky celebrates the element of air with a spectacular sunrise start from Hyde Common, one of the highest points in the New Forest National Park. As dawn breaks over Southern England, runners set off under an expansive dome of sky with views stretching from horizon to horizon. The course navigates wide open plains and winding forest trails through the New Forest, showcasing abundant wildlife roaming free in this protected landscape. The relaxed, friendly atmosphere creates an exceptional race experience, with fully marked and marshalled routes supported by multiple aid stations stocked with Precision Fuel & Hydration products. All routes finish with a thrilling run along Hampton Ridge back to Hyde Common, where runners receive bespoke event medals and can sit back to admire the awe-inspiring New Forest National Park. The event emphasizes environmental responsibility through partnerships with Trees Not Tees, offering runners the option to have a tree planted instead of receiving a finisher's medal.
